ISSR Observation and Focus Group Room
ISSR has recently upgraded all equipment in the Research Lab. The use of the Focus group room and Observation room is free of charge for all ASU faculty, staff, and graduate students doing Social Science research at ASU.
- Neat 360-degree camera and Neat Bar – continuously adjusts and adapts to rooms acoustics, noises, and lighting conditions as well as the number of people in the room. Pick upon crucial non-verbal communication. Can follow and zoom in on multiple people simultaneously
- Zoom room resource: Book your ISSR research project directly through Outlook, check availability and request time at: m.room.coor.5545. ISSR will receive the request and confirm if available.
- All recordings will go directly to your Zoom account alleviating the need to download to an external hard drive and eliminating IRB security concerns. Only you will have access to your recordings, ISSR will not.
- The room can be configured in many ways to accommodate your focus group. Conference table can accommodate up to 8 people. Two small sofas can be rearranged to make a smaller, more intimate setting.
- One way mirror between the Focus group and Observation room allows students and faculty to observe without interrupting focus group session. Recording can be controlled from both observation and focus group rooms using control pads installed in each or using your own laptop.
- Located on the Tempe Campus, Coor Hall, rooms 5545 and 5547.
