Seed Grant Funding

The ISSR provides seed grants of up to $8000 to all ASU investigators (on any ASU campus in any school) conducting research in the social 
sciences. The deliverable on ISSR seed grants is a proposal to an external agency. Proposal cycle is once per semester.

Focus Group room with one way mirror and separate observation room. State-of the art interview lab  with video recording equipment.

Graduate Certificate Social Science Research Methods

Open to graduate students across ASU. This certificate prepares students and professionals to acquire, manage, and analyze a broad range of data on human thought and human behavior. All students in this program will demonstrate skills in statistical analysis plus skills in a selection of methods related to their interests.

Undergraduate Certificate Social Science Research Methods

Open to all undergraduate students across ASU. This certificate prepares students and professionals to acquire, manage, and analyze a broad range of data on human thought and human behavior. Social Science Methods Workshops and Online Courses 

The ISSR offers hands on social science research methods workshops throughout the academic  year to advance skills in the collection and analysis of social science data. These workshops are open to all ASU faculty, staff, students and the general public.

Graduate Student Poster Contest

Each semester the ISSR holds a graduate student poster competition. This contest is open to any student (on any ASU campus or any school) doing social science research. Cash prizes awarded.
